raining when the car died? Any thoughts? Could it be a blown fuse?

i will tell you its definatly NOT the alternator. The
Lurver
alternator only runs when the car runs, so it doesnt make sense in this

situation (unless ur car was randomly shutting off while you were driving

it). I'de get the battery checked out. Just because it was charged, doesnt

mean its a good battery. The reason all the lights went out when you

cranked the key is because the starter tries to draw a large amount of
current. If the battery doesnt have enough juice, it cant run all the
lights & the starter at the same time. If the battery checks out good,
then its probably the starter itself.

sounds like a poor battery terminal connection. check the
Penguin
battery post and see if there is any corrosion. also wiggle the battery

cables and see if they're loose. good luck!

Check the connections at the battery. Turn your key to the on
French Frie
position and your lights on and then wiggle each wire one at a time and
