Born again Christians only please!
My 20 year old niece died last week in a fire.She was trapped in the house
and died of smoke inhalation.She was an aspiring model, going to college
and very beautiful.She had her whole life ahead of her. l know
as Christians that we are supposed to believe that a death like this has to
be allowed by God, and that nothing happens that He is not aware of
beforehand.l have trouble accepting this now.l can not believe that this
was supposed to happen. God could have prevented her from being in the house altogether.She could have worked late and stayed over at a friends house.Nobody knew for sure if she was home or not, her room was in the basement, and the exterior door was locked.There were other people in the house to get out, and rescue attempts were made for them because they knew they were home.Nobody knew if my niece was home. Please help me understand this.She had a lovely funeral filled to capacity, and you can say all the beautiful words you wanna at a funeral, but l held her hand for the last time while she was being kept alive on a respirator so they could have her organs.l can not accept that it was God is will for her to die. Please tell me why l have to accept this!
hi Dani, i am so sad to hear about ur niece. i will ask God to
give you His peace in this. i don't think it was God is will for her to
die, but i do believe He allowed it to happen, the same way He allowed
adam & eve to disobey Him. i believe the reason so many bad things happen
is due to disobedience to God. people sin. there are consequences for each
sinful act. people are murdered etc. God doesn't want them to suffer like
this, but He allows free will & people take that free will & do terrible things with it. there are so many things we do not know, if we did we would be as God. i think God is being merciful by not telling us so many things, it would not do us any good & we could not handle the knowing. our God is a loving God, with all that happens that we don't understand, we have to believe that, or where would we be. God chose to let Jesus die a dreadfull death, I am sure His heart was breaking as He watched His Son die. we don't know the ways of God, but we can choose to trust Him ..Lord God, please bless Dani with Your peace,, & fill her with Your love as she walks through this painful time. x
I am sorry for your loss. But only her physical body died. This
world is a world of suffering. Maybe your niece is needed in a higher world
The death of your niece is indeed a tragedy; My prayer is with
you and yours.
These things are not supposed to happen!
If the satan had not introduced death into the world these things would
not happen.
How Do you deal with this? Praise God for you will see your Niece again! and be thankful for the time that you enjoyed her company.
Why would you only ask this of born agains. They are only going
to tell you you never question the lord god.
We all come here with lessons to learn, we all choose our way in & our way
out. This is also a lesson for you to learn to let go. To understand that
she came here to fill ur life with compassion & beauty. Look at her life &
think of all the good she did, miss her now that she is gone & carry part
of what she did in this life with you & pass it on to others. I hope I have helped in a small way. Blessings
You will probably hate what I have to say but.. it could have
been her time. The other thing is I have heard it said that sometimes God
takes people home prematurely coz what they may have faced later would be
a far worse fate than what has happened. This is only an opinion.
I pray that you and your family will be comforted by our Lord.
There is no answer for this. I am sorry for your loss.
There is no god, no plan, and no purpose to the Universe. Life IS simply
what we each make of it. Sometimes life involves loss and pain.
Ask anyone who lived in most of Europe between 1939 and 1945.
I am just going to warn you Dani, saying ''Christians Only'' or
''Atheists only'' or ''Pagans only'' etc. is a sure fire way to get
EVERYONE else to reply here on R&S. Just thought you should know.
